Frequently asked questions

How do I restore my purchase?

Your AmpQuote Pro subscription is linked to your Apple Account. Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe, open AmpQuote and tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen or in the app’s Settings.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Go to iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, or open Settings in AmpQuote and tap Manage Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next one. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple.

Without an active subscription AmpQuote stays free for 3 new quotes a month, with every other feature, and you can always view, export and erase all your data.

How do I move to a new iPhone or iPad?

Sign in to the same iCloud account on the new device and install AmpQuote. Your data syncs from your own iCloud private database.

What happens if iCloud is turned off?

Your data stays on that device only and is not synced or copied anywhere else. A notice in AmpQuote's Settings explains this. We recommend using Export Everything regularly to keep your own backup.

How do I export my data?

In AmpQuote's Settings, choose Export Everything to get a ZIP file of all your data. This works at any time, with or without a subscription. For your accountant, you can also export invoices and payments as a CSV file.

How do I erase my data?

In AmpQuote's Settings, choose Erase All Data. This deletes every record and attachment on the device and the copy in your iCloud private database. If iCloud can't be reached at that moment, the deletions sync the next time the device is online.

You can also delete AmpQuote's iCloud data in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage. Export first if you want to keep a copy.

What is App Lock?

App Lock is optional. When it's on, AmpQuote asks for Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode before it opens. Turn it on or off in AmpQuote's Settings.

Why does a document say its number conflicts?

If you create quotes or invoices on two devices while both are offline, they can end up with the same number. When the devices sync, AmpQuote flags the later document and asks you to tap Renumber so the two documents no longer share a number.

Which tax rate should I use?

AmpQuote lets you set a single tax percentage, which is applied to the lines you mark as taxable. It includes no tax tables and does not give tax advice. You are responsible for using the correct rate for your business; if you're unsure, check with your accountant or tax authority.

How do I fill in the price book?

When you first open AmpQuote you pick the trades you work in — electrical, HVAC, plumbing, handyman, painting, roofing or carpentry — and the price book starts with 30 to 45 common task names for each, with no prices. Open each item and set your own rate. Add any other tasks you price regularly. Once your prices are in, building a quote is a matter of picking items and quantities.

How do I add tasks for another trade?

Open Settings › Add Trade Tasks, or Add Trade Tasks… in the Price Book's menu, and pick the trades you want. Only tasks you don't already have are added; nothing you've priced, edited or archived is changed. Removing a trade's tasks is up to you: delete or archive them in the Price Book.

Contact us

Email support@eonix.lk. We aim to reply within five working days.

Please don't send client details or copies of your documents unless we ask. We can't see your data in the app, so a description of the problem and your device and iOS version are usually the most helpful things to include.
